Step inside the artistry of ballet costume with the RNZB Foundation and the RNZB at Wellington’s St James Theatre for a special fundraising evening.

Tickets: $185, of which $100 is a donation to the RNZB Foundation* 

Join the RNZB Foundation and the Royal New Zealand Ballet for a very special fundraising event at Wellington’s St James Theatre, celebrating the artistry, history and craftsmanship of ballet costume. 

Guests will enjoy a rare opportunity to see treasured costumes from the RNZB collection up close, including pieces seldom seen outside performance. Discover the extraordinary detail, skill and workmanship behind these magnificent creations, and hear the stories of the designers, craftspeople, dancers and productions they were made for. 

The evening will feature a runway presentation, with RNZB dancers modelling selected costumes from ballets across the company’s history. Afterwards, meet and mingle with the dancers in costume, and speak with some of the RNZB costumiers who help bring these works of art to life. 

With live music, drinks and canapés included, this unique evening also supports the RNZB Foundation, with part of each ticket price received as a donation.
