The Sustainable Fund

The Royal New Zealand Ballet Foundation is committed to growing a sustainable fund to support ballet in Aotearoa New Zealand now and into the future.

Each year, the Foundation Trustees fundraise to grow this fund, and the fund is invested wisely in order to ensure its stability.

In 2024, the Foundation reached $1,125,000 in investments. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, in line with its Granting Policy, the Foundation must ensure that the making of grants does not result in the capital value of the Sustainable Fund falling below $1 million.
