The Royal New Zealand Ballet Foundation is committed to growing, and maintaining, a sustainable fund to support ballet in Aotearoa New Zealand now and into the future.

Each year, the Foundation Trustees fundraise to grow this fund, and the fund is invested wisely in order to ensure its stability.

Having now raised $1 million, in line with its Granting Policy, Trustees will develop processes to guide the Foundation’s approach to making grants from the fund which align with its purposes. Applications for grants are likely to be by invitation only at this stage.
